In regards to a particular incident on page 89 in the chapter entitled The Hills Are a Lie:

I may have chewed on your socks at home, but I NEVER chewed on your Trailways bus filth-encrusted sock.

NEVER!

There's nothing more to say. I just have to know, so that I can continue to live, that I never did that. I simply couldn't have. That's all.
